Off The Record: Machel Montano and Elizabeth “Lady” Montano

Join us for an evening of conversation and music with the “King of Soca”, Machel Montano, and the “ultimate insider”, Elizabeth “Lady” Montano, whose newly authored biography of her son celebrates his 40 years in the music industry. Hosted by GRAMMY Museum Experience’s Mark Conklin, we’ll discuss the evolution of Machel, stories of the various eras of his artistry, the highs and low of his journey from both his own vantage point as well as that of the Montano matriarch. A brief musical performance will follow the moderated conversation and Q&A.
